DIRECTIONS FOR USE

How to Use Max Retainer® Thermoforming Sheets

Step 1 – Remove the White Protective Film

Before thermoforming, carefully peel off and discard the white protective film from the sheet.

Step 2 – Position the Sheet

Place the thermoforming sheet in the machine with the clear protective film oriented toward the tooth/resin model, as indicated by the product instructions.

Secure the sheet according to the operating instructions of your thermoforming equipment.

Step 3 – Thermoform

Heat and thermoform the material over the dental model using the appropriate settings for your thermoforming machine.

Allow the formed appliance to cool sufficiently before removing or trimming it.

Step 4 – Remove the Remaining Protective Film

After thermoforming, carefully peel away the remaining clear protective film from the finished appliance.

Step 5 – Finish the Appliance

Trim, contour, and finish the thermoformed appliance according to your normal laboratory protocol.
